Happy 70th Birthday, Ma!

Audrey's Great Grandma Kipfer turned 70 on Friday! Her Grandma Logsdon also had a birthday on Thursday, but we didn't get a picture!

Happy Birthday to Both!!

Zebra Suit

So Cute!

Four Month Check Up

Audrey had her four month check up with Dr. Emm on Wednesday. He said that she seems to be a very healthy little girl. He was impressed with her head control - and he called her a big flirt when she smiled real big at him. She listened intently the entire time he talked about her and then she gave him a big smile. This time, she only had to have two shots and one oral injection, so it wasn't nearly as bad as the two month visit!

Audrey seems to be growing great:

Weight - 14 pounds 9 ounces - 75th percentile

Height - 25 inches - 75th percentile

Head - 15 3/4 inches - 35th percentile

Family Vacation

On Tuesday, we got back from our family vacation to Florida! We had a great time!! Audrey was a trooper throughout the trip - couldn't have been a better girl! It was so hard to come home - it was 80 degrees when we left Orlando and 8 degrees when we landed in Bloomington! Thanks, Mom and Dad, for a great trip!

As you can see, Audrey spent a lot of time in her Baby Bjorn. She loves it! Usually, I carry her around in it, but on the trip, we had several other people who were able to give it a try - Kami, Joe, and Candice all carried her around!

We spent the first couple of days in Daytona Beach. The condo was great, but the weather wasn't the best (however, it was better than home!). We mostly did indoor activities those first couple of days, which included shopping for the girls and a tour of the Daytona Speedway for the boys and Candice. We also took Audrey to see her first movie - the entire family went to see Four Christmases on Saturday afternoon. Audrey watched the first half hour and then fell asleep - I think we were lucky!

We spent the last few days at Disney World in Orlando. We had the best time! The weather was near 80. We went to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on Sunday night and we were able to walk right on all of the rides at the Magic Kingdom! It was SO much fun. They had free cookies, hot chocolate, and apple juice throughout the park - I think the Joe's drank their admission ticket in apple juice!

Audrey was great on both flights - her Grandma had the magic touch! She slept about an hour on each flight and had no problems! She loved having so much attention during the trip with so many people there loving on her the whole time - she seems a bit bored home with just me!

Taking a break at the mall for some lunch!:

Joe and I went and picked up Krispy Kreme doughnuts on Saturday morning, so Audrey got to model our hat:

I'm Going to Disney World!

We are all getting excited to head to Florida on Thursday! Mom, Dad, Kami, Joe L., Candice, Joe H., Audrey and I are going on vacation! It will be Audrey's first trip (well, technically second!) to Disney World to meet Mickey. Her Grandma and Grandpa Logsdon got her this Mickey Mouse - she loves her new friend!

Kami's Kitchen

Yesterday, Mom and Dad painted Kami's kitchen in her condo. Audrey and I went along to help, let's just say we weren't much help. Kami was supposed to be studying for her last round of finals, but she took a break to hold Audrey! The kitchen looks great... and Kami only has three finals left until she is a graduate from ISU!! Way to go Kami!

Grandma & Grandpa Hitt Visit

Audrey's Grandma and Grandpa Hitt came down from Green Bay to visit on Saturday night. Unfortunately, I guess we didn't get any pictures while they were here, so this is a picture of Audrey while we were waiting for them to arrive! As you can see, she was looking forward to their visit! Pat and Pat took Elsie home with them so that she doesn't have to go to a kennel when we go to Florida this weekend. So, our house will be a little quieter from now until Christmas!

Although we didn't get any pictures, we got this video!

Grandma and Santa Clause

Audrey and I went shopping with her Grandma yesterday to get out of the house! Audrey LOVES to shop! She has so much fun looking at everything and everyone. It is a great way to get her to sleep good at night. Since we didn't get a picture with the real Santa... this was the next best thing!

Great Grandma & Great Grandpa

On Thursday morning, Audrey and I went to Minier to visit her Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Kipfer while her Grandma cleaned their house. Audrey loves to visit them and always has BIG smiles for them! Her Great Grandpa got her a Curious George monkey, which she loved! She went straight for his eyes!

Giant Coke

Audrey decided to have a giant Coke from Casey's for breakfast on Thursday morning! Okay, maybe it was her Grandma's giant Iced Tea from Casey's, but we thought it was funny that the cup was almost as big as she was!

And yes, her hair is looking a little red!

Bed Time!

Audrey is finally getting a little better sleeping at night! She will usually go to sleep between 7pm and 8pm at night and then will wake up for a bottle when we move her up to her bed around 10pm. She still gets up between 2am and 3am for another bottle - but she is usually so hungry that she finishes it in 5 to 10 minutes, so she is quickly back to sleep. She will usually sleep until 6am or 7am - but this morning we were lucky and she slept until 8am!

Johnny Jumper

Audrey was especially bored today, so we decided to try out her Johnny Jumper! She wasn't too sure what to think, but she was kind of starting to like it by the end!

Dinner with the Kocher Family

Tonight, Joe, Audrey, and I drove down to Springfield to have dinner with Scott, Lindi, Owen, and Emily Kocher. We hadn't seen them for so long... since they moved to Wichita. It was actually our first time to meet Emily and their first time to meet Audrey. Lindi was my roommate for two years down at U of I - it was so great to see them again! We wish they lived closer!

Cereal in the High Chair

After putting up the Christmas tree and decorations yesterday, Joe put together Audrey's high chair, so I decided to let her try it out ... with a bowl of cereal. Audrey has been having a little bit of cereal in her bottles with her formula for about a month, so the taste wasn't totally new to her. I don't think she actually swallowed any cereal since her tongue seemed to push it all right back out, but at least she gave it a shot! She seemed to enjoy her new high chair! And of course the Beast was as curious as ever.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a great Thanksgiving this year! We celebrated with the Logsdon side with a dinner on Wednesday night and then with the Kipfer side with lunch on Thursday at my parent's house. Audrey got to spend some time with her great great great aunt Mockie!

I took her hair bow off while I fed her... and I guess it never made its way back on... so she looks a bit like a boy in her turkey suit!

Bumbo

Audrey is getting better and better at sitting in her Bumbo. She loves to think that she is a big girl and can do things herself! Elsie thought that it was kind of neat that she was right at her eye level!

Play Date

Audrey had all of her little friends over again last Tuesday - it was so fun to see how the babies are all growing and changing! I would love to post pictures from the play date, but our Beast got ahold of our memory stick full of all of our pictures since Audrey was born. Fortunately, I had all but the last week's worth of pictures saved to our hard drive - but unfortunately, the play date pictures fell within that week that was not saved! I guess I learned my lesson - pictures will now be saved immediately after taken!

First Shopping Trip!

I came across these pictures today on my Mom's camera... pictures from Audrey's first shopping trip! Her first shopping trip was on Labor Day... when she was two weeks old! She's only three months now, but it is already hard to believe she was ever so tiny!!

And I couldn't resist this picture... it captures Elsie's curiosity about Audrey... from the very beginning!

Audrey and Kinley

Last week, Loni had to go to a class for work, so I (with a ton of help from my Mom!) babysat Kinley for a day. Audrey and Kinley had so much fun! They are exactly five weeks apart... and Kinley appears to have pretty much caught up with Audrey size wise! The girls were so good!! But, I couldn't have done it without my Mom's help! The girls seemed to need to eat, be changed, and be entertained all at the same times! It was kind of fun to see what it would be like to have twins... for a day. Thanks, Mom, for all of your help!

Panda Suit

We had to get a picture of Audrey in her little Panda Suit that her Grandma Logsdon got her! I love the hat! Audrey has quite the wardrobe thanks to her Grandma (and Grandpa!)!! Thanks to her, she has an outfit for every occasion!

Audrey's First Trip to Chicago!

A couple of weekends ago, Mom, Audrey, and I went on an adventure to Chicago. We went to a baby clothing warehouse sale in the suburbs of Chicago and stayed over night with my Aunt Jayne. I drove with Mom and Audrey settled in the backseat. Audrey was great - she slept all of the way there and all of the way home! Her Grandma did a great job keeping her content during the car rides.
I had to wear Audrey in her Baby Bjorn at the sale because strollers weren't allowed... and she loved it. We weren't there too long, but it wore her out... she was asleep by the time we were ready to head to my Aunt Jayne's house to spend the night.
It was Audrey's first time to visit Jayne's house... and a picture with her would have been more appropriate... but all I have is a picture of Audrey on her couch! Sorry Jayne! Maybe we'll get one at Thanksgiving. Also in the picture is Audrey's new Emily doll. She LOVES Emily! So needless to say, Emily goes most places with us, as well!
All in all, it was a productive trip, and we had a lot of fun! We can't wait to go back to visit the O'Gormans... and also to go to the next sale!

Cutie!

Audrey's Grandma & Grandpa Hitt gave her a new little outfit for Halloween... so she put it on tonight to show them just how cute she is in it!

Back Home...

After our adventure getting to Green Bay, we were a little worried about our trip home! But it turned out to be a great trip! We left Green Bay plenty early to avoid traffic... and having to drive in the dark. About an hour and a half or two hours into the trip, Audrey woke up, so we stopped off at McDonald's to feed and change her. At McDonald's, she was super happy... we got several comments on what a happy baby she is! Her Daddy thinks she was so happy because we just so happened to be in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, and she's going to be a beaver for Halloween... but I don't know! She was awake for half an hour or so after that... but slept the entire rest of the trip!

The Hitts

Audrey was excited to see her Grandma and Grandpa Hitt! She hadn't seen them since the beginning of September, so she had grown a lot... and changed so much. She was especially talkative to them on Sunday morning... telling them how beautiful she is!
Audrey also got to meet her Great-Grandma Lorraine for the first time! Audrey is very fortunate to have three Great-Grandma's (and a Great-Grandpa!) who all love her very much!

Audrey's First Trip to Green Bay!

On Friday, we began Audrey's first trip to Green Bay, Wisconsin, to visit her Grandma and Grandpa Hitt and to meet her Great-Grandma Hitt. We knew we were in for an adventure... 6 hours in the car (each way!) with a two month old and a Beast! Audrey slept for the first two hours... and cried for the rest of the trip! The Beast couldn't have been better... she curled up in the front seat and enjoyed the ride. Between the two of them, we stopped about four times total... but we finally made it there!

Play Date!

Yesterday, Audrey had all of her new little friends and their mommies over to play! We had five babies all within a month of each other in age. Two of them even share the same birthday! It was so fun to see the differences in the babies... and especially the differences between the girls and the boys. The boys all grunted and the girls definitely made girly noises! We can't wait to meet up with them again!

Kinley - born September 18
Clayton - born September 16
Logan - born August 14
Audrey - born August 15
Ethan - born August 14

Our Little Beaver...

Before Daddy went back to work this afternoon, he insisted that Audrey try on her beaver costume! What a cute little beaver! Although she looks somewhat happy in the picture... she wasn't! She tried to nurse the hood the entire time! I think she'd rather be a pumpkin...
