Audrey turns Two!

We celebrated Audrey's 2nd birthday on Saturday with family and some friends!  Audrey LOVES being TWO!  If you would like, feel free to enjoy the entire collection of the birthday photo here!

Bows

The other night, Audrey decided that Elsie needed to wear a bow, too!  So... we went and found a bow just like the one she had in.  Elsie wasn't too thrilled... but Audrey sure thought it was great!  These two are best friends!

Fun at the Fair!

Yesterday, Joe and I took Audrey to the McLean County Fair. She had SO much fun! She loved all of the animals! Her eyes lit up when we walked in the bunny/chicken barn. She especially likes the chicks, bunnies, and of course, the peacock! She was a little afraid of the horses and cows... but she really liked the pigs! She made animal noises all day long!

Fun Run

Friday night was the final Fun Run for the summer!  Audrey received her trophy and had a great time!  The girl LOVES to run!  Every time we are outside, she lets everyone know when it is "their turn" to race! 

New Swing Set!

As Audrey says, she got a new "wing set!"  Huge thanks to her Papa, Grandpa Hitt, and Daddy for putting it together!  And for Nana and Grandma Hitt, too, for their help in keeping her occupied while it was being assembled!  Although the box read "EASY ASSEMBLY" in huge letters... it didn't prove to be so easy! Audrey LOVES it!  And as you can see, Elsie does, too! 

Finally... A Blog Post!

So, I realize that it has been months since I last created a blog post! As a matter of fact, that became painfully obvious tonight as I had to re-teach myself how to create a post! Anyway, below are a few pictures... of what we've been up to. Most of our Friday nights this summer have been spent at the Kid's Fun Run at Wesleyan. Audrey LOVES it! She especially loves when her Nana and Papa come to cheer her on! And seeing all of her best friends... Reagan, Kinley, and Carter!

Loving Meltaways!

I was sitting on the couch and noticed Audrey running around going "mmm.... mmm..." and eating something. I looked over to find that she had reached a box of Fannie Mae meltaways off of the kitchen counter! She was in heaven! I can't quite figure out how many she actually ate... but enough to be hyper the rest of the night!
