Back Home...
After our adventure getting to Green Bay, we were a little worried about our trip home! But it turned out to be a great trip! We left Green Bay plenty early to avoid traffic... and having to drive in the dark. About an hour and a half or two hours into the trip, Audrey woke up, so we stopped off at McDonald's to feed and change her. At McDonald's, she was super happy... we got several comments on what a happy baby she is! Her Daddy thinks she was so happy because we just so happened to be in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, and she's going to be a beaver for Halloween... but I don't know! She was awake for half an hour or so after that... but slept the entire rest of the trip!
The Hitts
Audrey was excited to see her Grandma and Grandpa Hitt! She hadn't seen them since the beginning of September, so she had grown a lot... and changed so much. She was especially talkative to them on Sunday morning... telling them how beautiful she is!
Audrey also got to meet her Great-Grandma Lorraine for the first time! Audrey is very fortunate to have three Great-Grandma's (and a Great-Grandpa!) who all love her very much!
Audrey's First Trip to Green Bay!
On Friday, we began Audrey's first trip to Green Bay, Wisconsin, to visit her Grandma and Grandpa Hitt and to meet her Great-Grandma Hitt. We knew we were in for an adventure... 6 hours in the car (each way!) with a two month old and a Beast! Audrey slept for the first two hours... and cried for the rest of the trip! The Beast couldn't have been better... she curled up in the front seat and enjoyed the ride. Between the two of them, we stopped about four times total... but we finally made it there!

Play Date!
Yesterday, Audrey had all of her new little friends and their mommies over to play! We had five babies all within a month of each other in age. Two of them even share the same birthday! It was so fun to see the differences in the babies... and especially the differences between the girls and the boys. The boys all grunted and the girls definitely made girly noises! We can't wait to meet up with them again!
Kinley - born September 18
Clayton - born September 16
Logan - born August 14
Audrey - born August 15
Ethan - born August 14
Our Little Beaver...
Before Daddy went back to work this afternoon, he insisted that Audrey try on her beaver costume! What a cute little beaver! Although she looks somewhat happy in the picture... she wasn't! She tried to nurse the hood the entire time! I think she'd rather be a pumpkin...
Play Gym
Audrey LOVES her play gym! Every time I put her on the mat, she kicks and waves her arms in excitement! She loves to stare at all of the toys and flashing lights... but she gets especially excited when she kicks or hits the musical chimes! Each day, she coos and "talks" to her toys more and more. It is quite fun to watch her and see just how excited she gets!

Baptism
Audrey was baptised today at St. John's United Church of Christ in Minier. Uncle Joe and Aunt Kami served as her sponsors. Afterwards, the family came over to our house for a spaghetti dinner. It was such a beautiful day, and it was great to spend time with the family!
Two Month Visit with Dr. Emm
It's so hard to believe that Audrey is already two months old! She had her two month visit with Dr. Emm on Friday, October 17. She was such a good girl! Dr. Emm said that she is very active for a two month old! This visit was also her first set of vaccinations. She had to have FIVE shots!! Three injections in her right leg and two injections in her left leg - plus one oral dose. It was heartbreaking to see her in so much pain, but she recovered very quickly!

Shopping
Audrey and I decided to get out of the house today and go meet Loni and Kinley to go shopping. I got Audrey all ready to go... and she was quite happy about her outing!
Grandpa...
Audrey has been spending extra time with her Grandpa Logsdon since he will be getting busy in the field here soon. Her Grandma and I have been walking every night, so her Daddy and Grandpa have been taking turns babysitting!
Fall is Here!
We had to take Audrey's Halloween picture a few weeks early... because she may outgrow her leopard costume before Halloween gets here! Her Daddy keeps insisting that she is going to dress up as a beaver on Halloween, so we shall see...
Audrey and Her Beast!
Elsie (also known as "the Beast") is growing more and more interested in all of the attention that Audrey is getting. What can I say?!
Welcome Kinley Jo!
Audrey has a new best friend! Kinley Jo Steinkamp was born on Thursday, September 18. She weighed 6 pounds 13 ounces and was 19 inches long. Congratulations Matt and Loni!!
Audrey and Kinley are 5 weeks apart. In this picture, Audrey is 7 weeks old and Kinley is 2 weeks old. It is amazing how much babies change in 5 weeks! I can't wait to watch these two grow up together!
Happy One Month Birthday!
Time has gone by so fast! It is so hard to believe that our baby girl is already one month old! Audrey is so alert and ready to meet the world!
Photo Shoot
While Daddy was at work, Audrey and I tried to have a photo shoot! Elsie insisted she be in nearly every photo - one way or another!
Two Week Visit with Dr. Emm
Audrey had her two week visit with Dr. Emm on Friday, August 29. Audrey weighed 6 lbs 10 oz when she was born, but was down to 6 lbs 3 oz at her 4 day visit. Dr. Emm wanted her back up to 6 lbs 10 oz by her two week visit - he didn't think we could do it - but he was surprised when she weighed in at 7 lbs even! She gained 13 oz in 10 days!
