Chicago Visit

On Saturday, Joe, Audrey, and I headed to Chicago to visit. We spent most of the day Saturday walking around our old neighborhood and visiting all of the places that we used to love to go. In the evening, Grandma and Grandpa Hitt met us for a fantastic dinner at Sullivan's Steakhouse. It was great!! Audrey was probably the youngest diner the place had seen in awhile... but it turned out okay. She was overly tired, but she got a bit happier with a few bites of her Daddy's passion fruit sorbet!

Joe and Candice announced on Mother's Day that they are expecting a baby on December 29!! We are so excited for them... and so glad that Audrey will have a new little cousin. Congrats to the mommy and daddy to be!

Many Firsts...

Audrey has been busy the last week or so with many firsts...

-She got her first crooked little tooth!
-She learned how to crawl... and has begun to explore the house on her own terms.
-She has become obsessed with pulling up and standing up... to anything!!
-She learned how to say "mama mama...!"
-She had her first trip to the ER... which resulted in her first ear infection...
-She took her first cruise around the neighborhood in her pretty pink car... and LOVED it!
-Last week, her Grandma Carol gave her her first Dilly Bar and got her her first balloon!

What can I say... she is a BUSY girl!
